MOPS is for all mothers with at least one child not yet in school and expectant mothers. MOPS celebrates motherhood and exists to meet the needs of all moms, recognizing that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship, filled with unique needs & challenges. Davis MOPS welcomes all women, from those currently pregnant to moms who have children in preschool, from Yolo County, Dixon, Winters, Sacramento and beyond.
Friends and drop-ins are always welcome!

The group starts off with a brief topic/presentation and flows from there. Delicious snacks are provided as well as a huge blanket for which to put the babies that life the floor. It's free and informal.

Contains a variety of durable toys for young children such as sand toys, blocks, infant and toddler toys, dolls and dollhouses, puzzles, musical instruments, play food and dishes, animal figurines, toys for children with special needs and more.
Resource Library:
Contains an extensive collection of books, audiotapes, CD's and video tapes on parenting issues, child development (birth through teens), activities to do with children, choosing child care, special needs, and much more.
Annual Fee: $20 (prorated to $10 after January 1st)
You can check out to three toys and three books/videos at a time.
Toys and books may be checked out for a three week period.

- Customers from Davis and any other branch of the Yolo County Library can come in during Tuesday evening from 5-9pm or Saturdays from 10-2pm and check out a small Yolo County Library collection, pick up interlibrary loan materials from other library systems or materials they may have on hold from other branches.

The group is lead by Kate Duren, an experienced and perinatal counselor and group facilitator who is also a mom of three.

Crankin' the Series: Climbing Competition
CRANKIN’ THE SERIES - CLIMBING COMPETITION at 6:30pm (doors open at 5:45pm for registration)

The series starts Friday Nov. 5th and finishes March 11th.
Individual Competition
- Participants can compete as individuals in one of our 5 categories (Kids, Recreation, Intermediate, Advanced and Masters (45 years and up)). There will be mens and womens divisions for each of the categories.
-There will be prizes for the top three competitors of the night in each category on all three nights. (November 5th, January 14th, and March 11th)
-Scores will be tallied throughout the series to determine the Series Champions during the last competition on March 11th.
-There will be finals for the top three series competitors in the men’s and women’s Advanced groups and Masters to determine the winner for each category.
Team Competition
-Teams are made up of Three people.
-Each team must have one participant from each of the three categories: Advanced, Intermediate and Recreation. (If a participant is from the masters or kids category then they will be assigned a category of Rec/ Intermediate/Advance ONLY for the Team competition).
-Team scores will be based on the ranking of each team member within their own category for that night.
For example: The participants who earn the rank of 1st in Rec/ Intermediate/ Advanced will all receive 1 point for the team.
-Goal of the teams is to accumulate the LOWEST SCORE throughout the Series.
*Ties are acceptable for Series Team Champion
$30 for series and includes a series T-Shirt. The cost per comp is $10 a night and does not include a series T-shirt. (530) 757-2902
