Take a musical tour through the Costa Rican rain forest, the Ohio River Valley, the canyons of Texas, '60s psychedelia, and points beyond. Your tour guides: the band Tree-O. From bluesy rockers to country ballads, surf music to old-time and bluegrass styles, contemporary pop to classic western swing, Tree-O brings a new acoustic string band sensibility to its performances.

Tickets: $8 in advance, $10 at the door, or $35 for the entire series.
Tickets on sale at the Community Services Office at City Hall, Armadillo Music, Dimple Record, and the Avid Reader.

Special day for deaf and hard of hearing community,
sponsored by NorCal Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing. ASL interpreters will be onsite. Included with Zoo admission

DAVIS COMMUNITY CHURCH CONCERT SERIES: Todd Haaby 

4:00 PM
Location: DCC Sanctuary 4th & C St.

DCC is in its eighth year of offering outstanding concerts to the community of Davis. This event features Todd Haaby, a nouveau flamenco band. His music is a surprising sound that is definitely not traditional but rivals the best of the flamenco genre. Haaby and his group are playing to sold out west coast audiences. The $10 suggest donation supports the concert series as well as local and international charities.


INTERNATIONAL HOUSE STORYTELLING: Denise Hoffner
2pm to 3pm  Doors open at 1:45 pm.
Location: Davis International House, 10 College Park, Davis

DENISE HOFFNER is a comic, writer and storyteller, and will present an interactive children's program on High Holy Days.

Children's International Storytelling Programs, designed for children of all ages (with accompanying adult), are held one Sunday afternoon per month (except in December, June, July and August) in the Community Room of the International House. There is no charge for I-House members. The suggested donation for non-members is $2 per person or $5 per family.
